Charles Edward Moore, 67, of Union City died Dec. 5, 2011, at his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Tommy Sanders officiating and burial following there in Terrace Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Vinson Thompson, Roger Lyell, Gaylon Long, Billy Ledbetter, Pete Caldwell, Sidney Chappell and John Brasfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Lyons and Terry Wiseman.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
He was born May 31, 1944, in Gamerco, N.M., son of the late A.Y. and Christine (Hathcoat) Moore. He was a retired insurance agent and was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Cindy Moore of Troy and Mike and Pam Moore of Collierville; seven grandchildren, Drew Moore, Dylan Moore and Jack Moore, all of Troy, Nathan Moore, Jacob Moore and Julie Moore, all of Collierville, and Derick Reagan of Point Mugu, Calif.; and his niece, Christy Robinson of Murfreesboro.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Douglas Moore, Bud Moore and Marvin Moore.
