Annual Santa’s Village offers something for all

Annual Santa’s Village offers something for all
Visitors to the 27th annual Santa’s Village charity event will have an opportunity to enjoy more than 70 entertainers — ranging in age from 6 to 70 — from across the region.
Scheduled performances include pop, country, Broadway, classical, jazz and rock musicians and ballet, jazz and tap dancers, as well as the more traditional Christmas music.
Santa’s Village will be open from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday in the Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex on the University of Tennessee at Martin campus.
Admission is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5 worth of canned goods or toys, which will be given to several area agencies which help less fortunate families at Christmas. Among them are Chimes for Charity and Northwest Tennessee Disaster Services, as well as We Care Ministries, Santa’s Helpers, Healthy Start Northwest Region and Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council.
