Jayvee hoops tourney set to tip off

The brackets are set … almost.
Seeding for the Weakley County Middle School Tournament still has a little work to be complete, and play will begin Saturday at Martin.
Sharon is the No. 5 seed in the girls’ bracket and will play either Martin or Gleason 11 a.m. Saturday. Dresden is the top girls’ seed and wiill await that winner on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Second seed Greenfield will play Gleason or Martin 2 p.m. Saturday.
The championship game will be Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m.
Only one seed is set in the boys’ bracket with Gleason at No. 5.
The Bulldogs will play either Sharon or Greenfield 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Dresden or Martin will play Sharon or Greenfield 5 p.m. Monday. Martin or Dresden will be the top seed and will play 8 p.m. Monday.
The boys’ championship game is slated for 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8. Published in The WCP 12.1.11
