Senior events scheduled

Obion County Senior Citizens Center has announced the following activities for Dec. 5-9 at the Eddie Cox Senior Center in Union City.
Monday: At the center, shuffleboard will be played at 8 a.m. Bingo will be played 9-10. Crafts will be at 10. A SilverSneakers® exercise class will be 11-noon.
Tuesday: At the center, Cinch and Rook will be played at 8 a.m.-noon. A senior trip to Kentucky Opry Christmas Show in Draffenville, Ky., is being planned and will leave the center at 9:15 a.m.
Wednesday: At the center, Cinch will be played 8 a.m.-noon. SilverSneakers® exercise class will be held 11-noon. Mah Jong will be played at 1 p.m.
Thursday: At the center, Bridge will be played noon-4 p.m. A senior social and dance with the Larry Frye Band providing the music will be held 7-9:30 p.m. The cost will be $5 per person at the door and concessions will be sold to benefit senior programs.
Friday: At the center, shuffleboard will be played at 8 a.m. Line dancing will be held at 10. There will be no Tai Chi.
