Dresden PD’s Taylor lauded

OUTSTANDING SERVICE – Dresden police officer Sgt. Danny Taylor (left) was presented with the Outstanding Service Award by Dresden Police Chief Randal Walker at the City of Dresden’s Open House Sunday afternoon. This was the first year for the award and Walker hopes to make it an annual event. The award is given to the officer who has not only completed the job, but has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Eventually, the Rotary Club will begin presenting the Police Officer of the Year award as well.
