The Westview girls wore down another opponent.
The Charger boys, meanwhile, got off to a good start on their 2011-12 season.
Westview’s teams swept host Henry County on Thursday night at Gamlin Gymnasium — the Lady Chargers winning for the second time in as many games on the season with a 38-33 decision and the Westview boys making their first game a success with an 81-67 outcome.
The Chargers then came back on Saturday with another win, this time taking a 52-43 decision over Jackson North Side.
Westview will be at home against Union City tonight for a doubleheader and then host the Westview Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday.
The classic will feature 23 games over two days at both the Westview and Martin Middle School facilities.
