Members of Martin Alumnae Chapter met with the Southern  Regional Director in Nashville on the campus of Tennessee State University to have the first ever Fireside Chat.
The room was set with a simulated fireplace and discussions were made about the state of the economy and the impact that Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. has on the economy. In attendance were approximately 50 presidents, coordinators, advisors and other dignitaries of the sorority.
Each state in the Southern Region will be having a fireside chat with their presidents and advisors in their respective areas.  Delta Sigma Theta, the largest African American Sorority, is an organization of black college educated women committed to public service.
