Alumni challenge set

The third annual Alumni Reunion Challenge, pitting graduates of Obion County Central and Union City high schools against each other in a fund-raising effort to benefit charities supported by Jones-Walker Post 4862 Veterans of Foreign Wars will be Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. at the VFW ballroom on North Clover Street in Union City. Tickets are $10 for singles and $15 for couples, with reserved tables for eight selling for $100.
The Michael S. Williams Band will entertain and there will be a raffle featuring items such as TG Sheppard and Moe Bandy autographed guitars.
Profits will be donated in the name of the winning school, a spokesman said.

None
