NRA GUN OF THE YEAR –The Northwest Tennessee Friends of the NRA recently held a drawing for the NRA Gun of the Year, a Colt 1911 100-year commemorative pistol. The drawing capped off the recent banquet held on Sept. 17 in which they raised over $12,000 for the NRA foundation. The drawing was held at E.C. Pawn and Gun in Martin on Veterans Day. Local veteran and county mayor Houston Patrick (right) was on hand to draw the winning ticket. Bill Hazlewood (second from right) was the lucky winner of the 1911 NRA Gun of the Year.
