A Union City man sustained injuries in an altercation early Saturday at a local establishment.
James Gregory Bond, 26, was treated at the emergency room of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred about 3:30 a.m. at the Railroad Club, according to a Union City Police Department report.
Police responded to a report of a fight at the club. Police entered the establishment and an officer reported he noticed Bond, who was covered in blood, being pushed toward the door.
An altercation apparently had occurred, but police reported that evidence indicated another man allegedly involved was defending himself and no charges were levied.
