UTM-Louisville hoops
has ESPN3 broadcast

The season-opener for the UT Martin men’s basketball team against Louisville 6 p.m. Friday will be shown live on ESPN3.com. The direct link for the broadcast will be available here: http://espn.go.com/espn3/index?id=320971
The Skyhawks won their only exhibition tune-up, 90-72 over Webster on Nov. 4. Junior forward Eli York’s 21 points paced five different double-figure scorers for UT Martin.
Louisville won 74-55 over Pikeville (Oct. 26) and 62-54 against Bellarmine (Nov. 3) in its exhibition season.
ESPN3.com is the network’s live 24/7 broadband channel. It is available at no cost to fans with a high-speed Internet connection from an affiliated provider.

Skyhawk softball
offers winter camp

The University of Tennessee at Martin softball team will host its annual winter exposure and skills clinic Dec. 27-28. The two-day camp will run daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Tom and Kathleen Elam Center on the UT Martin campus.
UT Martin head softball coach Donley Canary and assistant coaches Sarah Daws and Daniel Farmer will serve as camp directors.
The coaches’ main emphasis will be development of the individual player skills in hitting, fielding and throwing plus identifying players that can play at the next level.
The cost of the camp is $85 per camper, which includes both days, if registered before Dec. 15. Registration after Dec. 15 and up until the day of the camp will be $100.
The cost includes camp insurance, T-shirt and lunch both days for the camper. Campers will be grouped by age and ability for individual and group instruction.

UTM volleyball team
rallies past Tigers

UT Martin rallied to beat Tennessee State in volleyball action Tuesday night in Skyhawk Fieldhouse.
With the victory the Skyhawks improve to 11-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference and 16-12 overall with two matches to play this season. Tennessee State falls to 11-7 in the league and 16-10 overall.
