Completed arrangements are being announced for Glen Dale Eason, 59, of Sevierville, formerly of Obion County, who died Nov. 7, 2011, in Sevierville.
Services were set for 10 a.m. today at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, with John Daniel officiating. Interment will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Sevierville.
Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy.
He was born May 25, 1952, in Lake County, son of Betty Fowler of Obion and the late Dale Eason.
He married the former Sherry R. Woody Nov. 14, 1997. She survives.
He is a retired employee of the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City and was a member of Sevierville Church of Christ. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is also survived by six sons and two daughters-in-law, Garrett Eason and Alan Doxey, both of Sevierville, Alex Doxey of Troy, Rodney and Lisa Eason of Clinton, Ky., and Brad and Tabitha Eason and Randy Eason, all of Union City; his grandchildren, Kayla Eason, Kelsey Eason, Nickie Eason, Landrey Eason and Braden Eason, all of Union City, and Charlie Eason of Clinton, Ky.; his grandmother, Lovell Fowler of Ridgely; his sister, Jeanette Rhodes of Camden; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Sandra Woody of Troy; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Dora Woody of Troy; his niece, Jenna Taylor of Troy; his nephew, Hunter Woody of Troy; and his special friends, Rod and Audrey Dobey and their children of Sevierville and Rigo and Lisa Garcia and their children of Crossville.
He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, John Fowler.
