Mrs. Avadell Rogers Prince, 94, of Martin died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at East Side Cemetery in Martin with Rev. David Brown and Rev. Mike Blake officiating with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements.
Jerry Davis, Terry Wheeler, David Spencer and Bobby King served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Prince was born Feb. 8, 1917, in Weakley County, daughter of the late Herman and Eunice Edwards Rogers. She was the widow of Thomas Prince, a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
Survivors include four nieces, Elizabeth Blake, Edna Harding, Catherine Haynes and Charline Freeman, all of Martin; and three nephews, Roger Alexander and Dickie Alexander, both of Union City and General Prince of Hoffman Estates, Ill.
