Members of Jacob Flournoy Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will be acknowledging National Native American Month in November with a display of pottery; pictures of famous chiefs; dream catchers; medicine bags; necklaces that include arrows, black bear claws, beads and other decoration; Indian dolls; and many other items that pertain to Native Americans.
A variety of foods introduced to early settlers will also be on display. The collection, which is provided by David James and Lora James, will be at the railroad museum in South Fulton Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and other times by appointment for those who call (731) 479-2640.
