Ellie Vada (Cutler) Hailey, 95, of Union City died Nov. 5, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Graveside services were set for 2 p.m. today at Elbridge Cemetery, with the Rev. Hugh Barksdale officiating. Pallbearers were to be Keith Hailey, Brent Hailey, Bryan Roberts, Andrew Speed, Glynn Jones, Kimmy Collins and Austin Collins.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 10, 1916, in Obion County, daughter of the late Frank and Maudie (Crabtree) Cutler. She married Edward Chappell Hailey Oct. 22, 1932. He died May 14, 1986. She was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church near Union City.
She is survived by her daughter, Gay (Hailey) Thomas of Cordova; her son, Steve Hailey of Union City; seven grandchildren, Beth Thomas of Memphis, Kathy Ann Richardson of Troy, Toni Jones of Clinton, Ky., Belinda Collins and Keith Hailey, both of Union City, Amanda Barnett of Woodland Mills and Tracy Johnson of Massillon, Ohio; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, John Franklin Hailey; her great-granddaughter, Emma Claire Barnett; and her brother, Odell Cutler.
