State inmate escapes

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Department of Correction says an inmate escaped from a minimum security prison in Nashville and he is considered dangerous.
Anthony Walker, 22, was discovered missing from his cell at the Charles Bass Correctional Complex around 1 a.m. today.
Walker, who is from the Murfreesboro area, was serving a 12-year sentence for charges of theft, burglary and attempted aggravated child abuse and neglect.
Metro Nashville police told WZTV-TV that if anyone sees him they should call police and not approach him.
He was wearing a blue Department of Correction uniform and is described as a 5-foot-9-inch white male with brown hair.
