| Jake Garrigan |
School: Obion Central
By the numbers: Making a move closer to the line of scrimmage in Central’s jumbled defensive set, Garrigan posted nine total tackles, including three solo stops. He also recovered a fumble that led to a Rebel touchdown.
Sound bite: “Jake has started every game for us, and he had a broken hand in the preseason, so we really didn’t know how well he would play,” Jackson said. “But, he did good against Henry County in the scrimmage and has played well every week since. He’s just been able to get it done every week. Last week, we moved him because of (Dyersburg’s) run strength, and there were times when he just threw himself in there and made a football play. He’s just a football player.”
