The following cases were disposed of Oct. 24-28 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson. The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• Kenneth L. Moore (419 South Sixth St., Union City) — six counts of manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of drugs/conspiracy and six counts of promoting methamphetamine manufacture, bound over to the grand jury.
• Sammy D. Morris Jr. (701 West State Line Road, South Fulton) — purchasing of alcoholic beverages for a child, $25 fine plus costs, time suspended upon payment by Jan. 4.
• Travis L. Morris (701 West State Line Road, South Fulton) — public intoxication, to be dismissed upon payment of costs on Oct. 25.
• Petter T. Olsen (205 Westbrook St., Troy) — vandalism (up to $500), may qualify for judicial diversion, $50 fine and costs.
• Ryan E. Weiker (2604 Lynn St., Union City) — theft (up to $500), may qualify for 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $100 fine and costs, $260 restitution.
• Arthur Maurice Davis (614 East Mercer St., Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia/attempt, waived to the grand jury.
• Victoria L. Dyson (614 East Mercer St., Union City) — Schedule VI controlled substance/attempt, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and disorderly conduct, waived to the grand jury.
• Nicholas Searcy (419 South Front St., Kenton) — simple possession/casual exchange, guilty of a lesser charge, 11 months and 29 days to serve 60 days jail, supervised probation, $250 fine and costs.
• Edward L. Brady (2723 East Reelfoot Ave., Union City) — theft (up to $500), guilty of a lesser charge, 11 months and 29 days, must complete rehabilitation, supervised probation, restitution and costs; criminal trespassing, guilty of a lesser charge, supervised probation, costs, rehabilitation.
• Charles Glenn Glover (105 West Gibbs St., Union City) — theft (up to $500), guilty of a lesser charge, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, 30 days jail, costs, restitution; criminal trespassing, guilty of a lesser charge, supervised probation, costs.
• Kaila B. Stover (314 South Fifth St., Union City) — three counts of forgery, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), waived to the grand jury.
• Laurenda Wilson (528 Spencer Lane, Oak Grove, Ky.) — forgery, bound over to the grand jury.
• Eric Minor (137 Broadway, South Fulton) — criminal trespassing, pay court costs and will be dismissed.
• Aletha Y. Morris (1003 East Mercer St., Union City) — driving while license suspended, to be dismissed upon payment of costs.
• Christopher W. Wallsmith (3393 North County Home Road, Union City) — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Jodie M. Adams (6078 Bone Road, Union City) — window tint violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Jonathan Brooks (1483 Ragan, Memphis) — lack of mudguard on trucks and safety rules and regulations violation, guilty/traffic tickets paid in full on both charges.
• David L. Stallings (1022 Tanbell, Apt. 202, Brownsville) — light law/motor vehicle violation and safety rules and regulations violation, guilty/traffic tickets paid in full on both charges.
• Cameron Bailey (754 Coon Williams Road, Troy) — violation of deer/bear/wildlife boar/turkey hunt regulations, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Justin C. Dill (118 East Palmer St., Union City) — simple possession/casual exchange, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $250 fine and costs.
• Sundie M. Huff (1704 Ella Grooms Road, Troy) — driving under the influence, 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours jail, $350 fine and costs, driver’s license revoked, statutory requirements, supervised probation.
• Caleb Morgan (59 East Highway 22, Lot 15, Union City, or the Obion County Jail) — two counts of forgery, waived to the grand jury.
• Timothy D. Roney (4531 Old Harris Road, Union City) — unlawful hunting/fishing out of season, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full. Published in The Messenger 11.2.11
