Frontier names new general manager

Charles “Mike” Metts accepted the position of local manager of the company’s Martin, Tennessee market, stated Greg Stephens, area general manager for Frontier’s southeast markets.
In his new position, Metts oversees all field operations and is responsible for customer and community relations in Dresden, Martin, Palmersville and Sharon. He manages all aspects of the business including revenue growth and expenses. Metts oversees a workgroup of 11 technicians and reports to General Manager Cereal Daniel Jr.
Metts has been with Frontier for 32 years.  Most recently he held the position of Technical Supervisor in Crossville, Tenn.  He also served in several tech positions and was responsible for the management of purchasing and inventory for the company’s southern markets and supervised the plant assignment and dispatch team in the southeast.
Metts earned an associate’s degree in electronics from Reid State Technical in Evergreen, Ala.
He and his wife, Kim, will relocate to the Martin area. They have two children and four grandchildren. “My wife and I have been welcomed to Martin in the old-fashioned hometown spirit and this is what we are accustomed to, coming from small-town America,” Metts said.  “I am excited to serve the residents and businesses of Weakley County and to become involved in the local community.”
