First State offices in Rives and Union City are collection sites for the Promethean Foundation. First State office in Troy is a collection site for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee-Union City.
The items that are collected will be provided to needy families during the holidays. The Promethean Foundation has expressed a special need for diapers in sizes 1-5. The Boys & Girls Club has expressed a special need for snack foods.
Those wishing to contribute may bring any of the items to any of the First State offices located in Rives, Union City and Troy. Donations will be accepted through Nov. 30. “First State will be able to provide the much needed items to these agencies because of the community’s kindness,” said Andy Page, regional president of First State Bank in Union City. “Families in need will greatly appreciate the generosity of our community and this will give them hope for the future.”
