LOOKING ‘FAIR’LY GOOD — The Northwest Tennessee Master Gardeners donated numerous hours before, during and after the recent Obion County Fair. They planted Knock-out roses, hydrangeas, hostas and other perennials, then watered them every day all summer. Among those participating were Patricia Seagraves, Judi Pitts, Sandra Harris, Wanda Sanders, Jenny Courtright, Lou Joyner, Phillip White, John Abernathy, Paula Breeden and Linda Lu Harding, all of Union City; Carolyn Deck of Martin; Judy Taylor and Brenda Williams, both of Union City; Lilly Kymbell and Dodie Gholson, both of Clinton, Ky.; Patsy Dickerson and Sherry Headden, both of Union City; and Vickie McKnight of Rives. They also served as superintendents for the floral department and manned a booth each night to answer questions.
