There are several who have requested special prayers this month. Please remember them. Please ask God to touch those in our community, county, and country that are in need of His guiding hands. God knows all these needs so we do not have to list them.
Brad Cook celebrated his birthday Tuesday. Kelsey Arnold celebrated her birthday on Wednesday. Lou Jobe and Brandy Cook celebrate their birthdays today (Thursday). Katie Mayo will celebrate her birthday on Sunday.
Are you looking for a place to meet up with others and socialize? The Sharon Senior Center is the place to for you to go. Your age is not a factor. They always need someone to play cards, games, dominoes, Ping-Pong and many other activities. Why don’t you come out and meet the gang. Be sure you stop by and pick up the prepared calendar so you know the dates of the activities and of any closings. If you need information about the Center, call 456-2213.
The Haunted Theatre is open this weekend. Be sure you go by and check it out. I hear there are a lot of scary things inside so be careful. If you need more information, call City Hall at 456-2122.
The thought for the week is: “To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. When God takes something from your grasp. He’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.” If you have a thought you would like to share, feel free to drop me an email or call me and I will put it in my article. My email is jaegardner@frontiernet.net and phone number is 456-9823.
Well, that’s all the news from the Sharon community. Remember to continue to pray for one another, our community and our military. May God have mercy on our land and bless you all.
