A midday fall-decorated wedding took place at Freeman Chapel Methodist Church, with Bro. Steve Douglas presiding. The church was decorated inside and out with beautiful fall colors and arranged with candles, pumpkins, gourds, leaves and mums. The beautiful stained-glass windows created a lovely scene with ferns and tulle using bows made of fall colors.
Morgan was escorted by her mom along the candlelit aisle and drops of leaves paved the path to the altar, where her future husband awaited. Blake’s grandmother Elizabeth Blake, played the piano and provided the music for her grandson’s wedding. Cody Blake, brother of the groom, was best man. Selena Chapman, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Heidi Chapman, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl and Antonio Brown, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The reception hall was decorated with pumpkin and gourd centerpieces along with leaves spread across the tables. The three-tier wedding cake was decorated with leaves of assorted colors with two layers of vanilla and one of chocolate covered in butter cream icing. The groom’s cake was a strawberry Tennessee Titans cake with Titans decorations along with delicious finger foods. After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, the couple resides in Martin.
