Halloween party set

A Halloween party is planned for Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Eddie Cox Senior Center at 622 South Depot St. in Union City. Cloyd Ash will provide karaoke and there will be dancing; a costume contest; an auction of donated items that will include baked goods such as cakes, pies, cookies, candies and desserts; and a chili supper provided by David Wilson for $1 a bowl.
There is no admission charge.
The center is accepting donations for the auction. Director Margaret Cook urges anyone with items to donate to contact her at 885-1246.
