UCHS Class of 1952 gathers | Union City High School Class of 1952

Union City High School Class of 1952 recently held its class reunion.
A total of 36 people attended, including 18 classmates and their spouses, family and friends.
Class members went on a pontoon ride on Reelfoot Lake, had dinner at Lakeview Restaurant, toured the high school and enjoyed a barbecue dinner at Mount Zion Methodist Church. The barbecue dinner included entertainment by singers Catherine and Buddy Rogers, accompanied on the piano by Jane Moore.
Those in attendance included Bobby and Shirley Clay of Forsythe, Mo.; Ocie “Skip” and Jerry Pedigo of Huntingdon Beach, Calif.; Jean Alice Gardner of Fayetteville, Ark.; Sarah Harris Andrews of Chapmansboro; Bussie and Sybil Moore of Newbern; Ray and Yvonne Qualls of Mountain Home, Ark.; Jimmy and Esther Starnes of Bayonet Point, Fla.; Rufus and Amy Webb of Daytona Beach, Fla.; Martha and Winfield Smith of Paris; Coy and Laura Littrell of Palm Coast, Fla.; Jane Park Paessler and Howard and Bev Carman, all of Memphis; George Lowrance and his daughter, Lisa, of Falls Church, Va.; Don and Nina Cunningham and Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, all of Union City; Pat Porter and Phyllis Sumner, both of Oak Ridge; Lionel and Pat Wheeler of Martin; Bobby and Avril Newsom of Bartlett; and Sandra and Jo Nip McKnight and Neta Bailey McKnight, all of Jackson. Also in attendance at the barbecue dinner were Bobby and Regina Vinson of Woodland Mills and Jane Moore of Kentucky.
The class voted to return in 2012 for its 60th reunion.
