Paris chapter earns honors at 115th convention | Paris Chapter 2125 United Daughters of the Confederacy members attending the 115th annual Division Convention

The 115th annual Tennessee Division Convention of the United Daughters of the Confederacy was held Oct. 6–8 at Pickwick Landing State Park. Paris Chapter 2125 earned the following awards for their work in 2010 – 2011:
• 1st Place – Medium Chapter – President’s Report
• 1st Place – Most Member Grave Markers Placed,
• 2nd Place – Medium Chapter – Rating Sheet,
• Public Relations – 757 inches printed material
• Most Books – Division – Donated to Libraries
• Most Books – Chapter – Donated to Libraries
• Division Quilt – Chapter Block
• Honorable Mention – Whittichen Trophy (Confederate Letters)
• “UDC Magazine” Advertising – Division Ad
• “UDC Magazine” Advertising – Chapter Ad
• 4th Place – Documentation on Black Confederate Soldiers
• Honorable Mention – Confederate History Month Activities
• Chapter Gaining New Members
• Division Page – Laura Nunnelee
• Essays – “The John Yeats Beall Affair” and “Courage, Stamina, and Achievements of Confederate Nurses” by Julie Wilson and “The Life and Childhood of Sam Davis” by Sandra L. Paschall.
• President’s Award – Special Projects – Sandra L. Paschall
• President’s Award – Individual Assistance – Sandra L. Paschall
Members attending the Convention hosted by Shiloh 371 were Joy Bland, Donna Cooley, Laura Nunnelee, Donna Whitten, Julie Wilson, and Paschall. Ft. Donelson 1582 will host the 2012 Convention.
