Janice Elaine (Reddin) Reasons, 50, of Dresden died Oct. 20, 2011, at her home. She was the daughter of Hollis and Elaine (Barham) Reddin of Rives.
Services will be 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Rev. Vann Kissell officiating, assisted by Rev. James Kinsey. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Flowers, Ricky Barham, Ronnie Barham, Keith Gallimore, Robert Craft and Ryan Conner. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Barham, Perry Barfield and Darrell Baty.
She was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Munich, Germany, and was married to Randy Reasons. She had been employed as a registered nurse at Oak Manor in McKenzie.
She attended primary and secondary schools in several different states including Maryland, Nebraska, New Mexico, Kentucky and Tennessee. She attended Tennessee Technology Center and completed licensed practical nurses training and had worked as an LPN at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City for several years. She then attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, completing nurse’s training and graduating in 1988 as a registered nurse. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Martin.
She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, grandmother and aunt. Her passion in life was her family and helping other people through nursing. Heaven has received the most beautiful angel to watch over us. She will truly be missed.
She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Amanda Campbell of Martin; her daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Shawn Spendlove of Martin; three grandchildren, Chase Campbell, Tanner Campbell and Chanler Spendlove, all of Martin; two brothers and her sister-in-law, Ray and Mary Reddin and Steve Reddin, all of Rives; her sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Joe Morrow of Rives; six nieces, Becky Reddin, Nicci Flowers, Allison Reddin, Savannah Reddin, Meagan Morrow and Brooke Morrow, all of Rives; her nephew, Will Morrow of Rives; and her great niece, Chloe Flowers of Rives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shelley and Ola Mae Barham and Hollis and Ethel Reddin.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis or the charity of the donor’s choice.
