Mia Spence turns 5

Mia Spence, the daughter of Stan and Celeste Spence of Henderson, Nev., and big sister to Aubrey, turned 5 on Oct. 7.  
Her birthday celebration was held at the Las Vegas Zoo.
Many friends and family were in attendance. Special guest were grandparents Mike and Susan Spence of Dresden and  Aquilino and Lettie Alcantara of Las Vegas; and uncles Al Alcantara from New York and  Keith Alcantara from Las Vegas.
Activities included touring the zoo, petting a baby wallaby (called a joey) and face painting by Suzanne Lugano, friend of the family.
Everyone enjoyed a “Hello Kitty” chocolate cake, along with pizza and a Filipino buffet.
Great grandparents Virginia White and Inez Spence of Dresden were unable to attend.
