Baptist Memorial Hospi-tal-Union City has named Lori Brown, RN, as its chief nursing officer (CNO). The previous CNO James Caldwell joined NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., as administrative director of quality.
As CNO, Brown will assume accountability for managing resources to assure safe nursing practices and patient services. She will provide input into the hospital’s strategic planning activities as a member of the administrative team. “I look forward to working with and learning from the team at Baptist Union City,” said Brown.
Prior to being named CNO, Brown was the chief quality officer for Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, Tennessee.
“Lori brings experience and knowledge from nursing and areas outside of nursing. Understanding the importance of working as a team across different units is a good fit with our hospital culture. We are excited to have Lori join our team and our community,” said Brad Parsons, administrator and CEO.
Brown resides in Martin.
