Final plans for the wedding of Brooke Adair Parker of Union City and Don David Parks of Union City are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jeff and Bobbi Campbell of Union City. Her grandparents are Robert Lee and Brenda Goodman of Samburg, Neda Jo Campbell of Union City and Bill and Sandy Campbell of Centerville.
The groom-elect is the son of Larry and Becky Parks of Union City. His grandparents are Eloise Parks and the late Raymond Parks of Trenton and Demetrie Pepper and the late Charles Pepper of Union City.
The couple will wed Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Union City, with Dr. Bobby Williams of Mount Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Troy officiating. Music will begin at 6.
A reception will follow at the John Tanner National Guard Armory in Union City. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
Whitney Ray of Union City, childhood friend of the bride-elect, will serve as maid of honor and Anna Parks of Union City, sister-in-law of groom-elect, will be the matron of honor. Bridesmaids will be Carolina Conner of Troy, Rachel McCollum and Maddie Carrington, both of Union City, Becky Parnell and Rebecca Hinds, both of Martin, Katie McGill of Memphis and Ashley Thomas of Jackson. Gentry Beal of Tiptonville will be the flower girl.
Honorary bridesmaids will be Alyssa Folk of Memphis, Beth Dane of Jackson, Colby Gray of Union City, Julie Jones of Chapel Hill, Mari-Kate Estes of Dyersburg and Ashley Clampitt of Boliver.
The groom-elect’s twin brother, Ron Parks of Union City, will be his best man. The groomsmen will be Chuck Parks of Union City, brother of groom-elect; and Jeremy Barnes, Zach Buckland and Logan Flood, all of Union City; Brandon Orr of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; Ryan Angel of Martin; Ben Hager of Jackson; and Daniel Pardue of Troy. Drake Chism of Union City will be the ring bearer.
Serving as ushers will be Alex Hopkins, cousin of the bride-elect, and Barrett Betts, Matthew Gray and Seth Taylor, all of Union City; Josh Qualls of Knoxville; and Matt Clark of Memphis.
Attendants will be Kate Yarbro of Martin, cousin of bride-elect; Blair Parks of Jackson, cousin of groom-elect; Tia Parks and Lindsey Breeden, both of Union City, nieces of the groom-elect.
