Retired teachers meet

RETIRED TEACHERS MEET — Retired teachers from the Obion County-Union City Retired Teachers Association recently attended the West Tennessee Workshop in Jackson. Those attending included (standing) co-chairman of membership Sallie Ferguson, president Alice Fennel, community participation chairman Mary Dunavant and (seated) treasurer Gloria Howell. They were joined by Tennessee Retired Teachers Association president Morris Fair Sr. The Obion County-Union City Retired Teachers Association will meet Thursday at Lakeview Dining Room at Reelfoot Lake. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 10. Those attending are asked to bring two containers of peanbut butter and one can of Spam™ or money or Reelfoot Rural Ministries.
