GLEASON WELCOMES WILDCAT READERS – Second graders in Kara Atkins’ class at Gleason School enjoyed listening to stories read by two players on the Bethel University Men’s Basketball team during their second-grade library class on Oct. 6. Reading role models Sylvester Sipp and Caleb Hardy volunteered their time to read, showing by example that “School is cool.” Sipp chose to read a book titled “My School is a Zoo.” Hardy read from “Cha Cha Chimps.” Both books delighted the second-graders, as did their interaction with the basketball players. The second-graders are pictured with Bethel head coach Aaron Johnson, Caleb Hardy and Sylvester Sipp.
