Carlos Walden ran for one touchdown and threw for another to lead South Gibson to a 26-17 victory over Gibson County in a District 13AA game played on Thursday night.
The win — in the first-ever varsity meeting between the neighboring county schools — snapped a two-game SG losing streak, improving their overall mark to 5-2 and their league record to 2-2.
