Saturday timetable for Fire Prevention Festival

7 a.m. Vendors set up at the fire station and on the streets.
9 a.m. Open house, all exhibits open, military equipment display, finger printing of children ages 11-12.
LIFELINE Blood Mobile 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Climbing wall located next to fire station.
9:30 a.m. Hospital Wing helicopter arrives.
10 a.m. Fire truck rides in middle block.
Greenfield Police Department demo on THP seat belts.
10:30 a.m. Air Evac arrives.
11 a.m. Spotlight the Fire Dog teaching fire safety by Terry Baker.
1 p.m. Emergency drivers meeting in front of station. All apparatus drivers need to attend.
1:30 p.m. Parade lineup at Evergreen Street and Greenfield Products Road on the right side of the street.
2 p.m. Parade starts.
3 p.m. Closing activities at the fire station. Activities will run in middle block until 10 p.m.
The Greenfield Booster Club will be selling barbecue by the pound on the corner across from the Greenfield Banking Company. The 11th annual arts and crafts show will be held at the mini park and in the middle block downtown Greenfield. Set-up Saturday by 8 a.m. Space is limited. For reservations, call Greenfield Banking Company at 235-2207 and ask for Alice Ann Yeargin.
The fee for the space is $10.
There will be no provisions for bad weather. Vendors are not allowed under awning.
The annual 5K run will begin at 8 a.m. in front of Greenfield Banking Company, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. For additional information, contact Keith Tucker at 235-9027. Entry fee is $20 and T-shirts will be given to all participating runners. Entries for the car show need to sign up between 8-10 a.m. First- and second-place trophies in all classes will be given. The Booster Club will be serving barbecue plates and more from 5-7 p.m. The cost is $6 per plate so come out and support the Greenfield Booster Club.
