Nellie Hibbs, 64, of Fulton died Oct. 4, 2011, at her home.
Services will be 10 a.m., Friday at First Assembly of God in Clinton, Ky., with the Rev. Lynn Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Beauregard Cemetery in Kentucky.
Friends may call at the church 5-8 p.m. today.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society at 302 Carr St. in Fulton.
She was born March 24, 1947, in Dyer and was a graduate of Southeastern Illinois College.
She was an R.N., who had retired from the Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden.
She was also a faithful and active member of First Assembly of God in Clinton, where she served as a prayer warrior, kitchen helper, Vacation Bible School volunteer and member of the Women’s Ministry and in many other areas.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Hibbs; her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Daren Coats of Duncan, Okla.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Julieta Inghram of Chickasha, Okla., Brian and Missi Inghram of Billings, Mont., and David and Cheyanna Hibbs of Hickory, Ky.; her sister, Violet Vanhooser of Newbern; two brothers, Rance Howell and Doug Howell, both of Dyersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Margaret “Sis” Ennis Howell; her father, A.N. “Pete” Howell; her brother, Jerry Howell; and her sister, Flossie Weaver.
