|Marcus Parr |
School: Obion Central
By the numbers: Parr made his name for the night with big plays as he had one tackle for a loss, a player where he also caused and recovered a fumble, along with an interception and a pass break-up in addition to his seven total tackles.
Sound bite: “Marcus is just a playmaker,” Jackson said. “Plain and simple. He’s so gifted, and he’s always around the football. The play he made the other night where he deflected the pitch, tackled the quarterback and then recovered the fumble is something like you’d see at the next level. He’s passionate about the game and our program, and he wants to do well. His energy is infectious to the rest of the team and he makes plays that change the momentum on both sides of the ball.”
