Chickasaw park hosts craft fair

Chickasaw State Park will host the 20th annual Craft Fair Saturday and Sunday.
Sponsored by the Friends of Chickasaw State Park, the craft fair will feature a variety of artists and craftspeople from around the South, displaying and selling their unique wares.
The event is a wonderful opportunity for the entire family and a great way to kick off the fall season, a spokesman said.

Chickasaw State Park is situated on some of the highest terrain in West Tennessee. Of the area’s 14,384 acres of timberland — 1,280 acres are used for recreation.
The remainder is state forest managed jointly by the State Forestry Division and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
The park is located in Chester and Hardeman Counties, 18 miles south of Jackson on State Hwy. 100. Additional information about the park can be found at www.tnstateparks.com/Chickasaw.
