|Obion County Central head football coach Shawn Jackson was reportedly hospitalized late Monday with diverticulitis. |
Rebel Quarterback Club President Tammy Patton said this morning that Jackson was a patient in the intensive care unit at Baptist Hospital-Union City and was expected to stay there for a couple of days.
Patton said Jackson was being treated with antibiotics and that it was hoped he’d be moved to a private room later in the week.
The unbeaten Rebels, ranked fourth in the state and off to the best start in school history, are idle this week. Published in The Messenger 10.4.11
