Drug arrest made

A Troy man was arrested and charged with drug offenses by the Union City Police Department Friday.
David A. Cook, 28, of 1855 Ella Grooms Road, is accused of altering a prescription for Toradol he received at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and attempting to fill the prescription at Walgreens in Union City.
After his arrest for the forged prescription charge, a search revealed he was allegedly in possession of a metal container which held a Lortab and a Xanex tablet. He was subsequently charged with possession of Schedule IV.
