Westview HOSA students receive first aid training

The Westview Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) assisted the EMS in providing first aid to students at the Soybean Festival street fair on Sept. 9. Students helping included president Dionna Alaba-HOSA, Rachel Reeves, member at large Adam Cavin, Tara Wilkey, photographer Madison Williams, Kendall Newton, Michelle Turner, Danielle Whiteside, Mariah Boyd, Christoher Evans, secretary Dylan Brown, Alexis Beverly, Nealey Wade, Abby Butler, Whitney Holecz, Seth Pierce, treasurer Taylor Swaim, Alex Cooper, Kristy Gathings, photographer Staci Morris, Matthew Thomason, historian Harlie Johnson, Alex Hughey, vice president Lauren Baker, Ellen Vaughn, Hannah Isa, Dallas Lawson, advisor Samantha Daily, chaperone Carolyn Glover and Bethany Palmer. The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students; therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the health care community.
