Completed arrangements are being announced for Louise Quinton, 89, of Obion, who died Sept. 28, 2011, at Golden Living Center.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Terry English officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
Pallbearers will be Pete Quinton, Johnny Quinton, David Quinton, Garrett Buchanan, Billy Ledbetter and Alan Jordan.
She was born April 24, 1922, in Obion, daughter of the late Fount and Vader (Turner) Barnes. She was a member of Obion First United Methodist Church and had been a seamstress at the former Salant & Salant in Obion.
Survivors include two grandsons, Mickey Wright Quinton of Horn Lake, Miss., and John Mark Quinton of Newbern; three great-grandchildren, Justin Wright Quinton of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jenny Donielle Coffman and Katy Quinton, both of Newbern; three great-great-grandchildren; and her nephew and his wife, Vinson and Ann Thompson of Obion.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Quinton, who died in 1991; her son, Baxter Quinton, who died in 1999; and two sisters, Mary Ruth Thompson, who died in 2009, and Mattie Lou Fitzgerald, who died in 2011.
