Frights will be offered on more nights when the Haunted Trail returns to Dyersburg State Community College.
For the second year in a row, the Richard E. Donner Arboretum and Nature Trail, located behind the E.H. Lannom Jr. Gymnasium on the Dyersburg campus, will be transformed into the Haunted Trail, which will be open on more evenings this year.
This year’s new scary scenarios will be set up by members of the DSCC baseball team.
“We had so much fun with this project and it was such a success. Since August, we have been working with Dyersburg State to make the trail different and longer. We are adding several new scary scenes so that people will want to come back,” said Jeff Jackson, Dyersburg Civitan Club member and one of the project coordinators.
The Haunted Trail will be open from 7-11 p.m. Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 28-31. The cost for admission will be $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 12 and younger. Proceeds will benefit the DSCC baseball program and Dyersburg Civitan Club projects.
