Completed arrangements are being announced for Anna Mai King, 94, of Troy, who died Sept. 27, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Troy Church of Christ, with Ron Newberry and Chris Gooch officiating. Burial will follow there in the Terrace Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services at the church Thursday.
White & Mahon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Smith, Steve Smith, Gene Clark, Oneil Baker, John Mack Long, Bill Tanner, Tom King and Charlie Guy.
She was born Jan. 5, 1917, in Obion County, daughter of the late William and Kate (Byars) Holloman. She married Doyle Wayne King Aug. 3, 1946. He died April 14, 1982. She had been a floor supervisor at the former Salant & Salant in Union City, where she worked for 36 years, and was a member of Troy Church of Christ.
She is survived by her cousins, Thel and Judy Taylor of Union City; her niece, Betty Bushart Acampora of Baton Rouge, La.; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Randall King of Troy, who were her caregivers; three other sisters-in-law, Betty Fitz, Laverne Long and Ruth King, all of Troy; and several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
