We Care is an event planned tentatively for Saturday at the Nash Street Park in Union City to encourage community unity. The challenge of 50,000 Acts of Kindness by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee-Union City members has inspired the movement “We Care.”
This event will include live instrumental music, free food, inflatable children’s jumpers, giveaways and more. Awareness topics on productive employment, education and inspiration, second chances and entrepreneurship will be shared.
This event will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m., according to organizer and Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee board member Rod McLendon of Union City. “If you care, meet us there. We will be so appreciative for your interest and participation if you and your organization are available,” McLendon said.
