Ann Grimes, 74, of Obion died Sept. 26, 2011, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion, with the Rev. Danny Neal officiating. Pallbearers will be Rick McWhorter, Greg Campbell, Jimmy Rambo, Ken Jones, Gerald Hollis and Richard Hood.
There will be no visitation. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that donations be made to the church or charity of the donor’s choice.
She was born Sept. 26, 1937, daughter of the late Preston and Ollie Pearl (Coble) Morris. She was a member of Greater Vision Ministries in Troy.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott and Dana Grimes and Jackie and Rena Grimes, all of Obion, and Andy Grimes of Troy; three sisters and her brother-in-law, Peggy Terry, Pat Payton and Carolyn and Terry Roden, all of Obion; her brother, Edward Fay Morris of Woodland Mills; nine grandchildren, Ashtyn Grimes, Austin Grimes, Autumn Grimes, Candice Grimes, Carigan Grimes and Connor Grimes, all of Obion, and Jeriana Grimes, Savannah Grimes and Dallas Grimes, all of Troy; two step-grandchildren, Holly Burks and Taylor Burks, both of Little Rock, Ark.; and her great-grandson, Landon Bragg of Obion.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Grimes, who died Sept. 29, 1990.
