UT Martin nets sixth-place finish in Tennessee university web ranking

The University of Tennessee at Martin’s official website was awarded the rank of sixth out of 47 Tennessee colleges and universities in the 2011 4 International Colleges and Universities website popularity ranking.
The algorithm-derived standing is based on college website popularity among Tennessee four-year colleges and universities. 4 International Colleges and Universities (4icu.org) extracts website traffic data from three popular search engines, Google Page Rank, Yahoo Inbound Links and Alexa Traffic Rank, to generate a school’s final score and rank.
The 4icu.org directory includes international higher education organizations that are officially licensed, accredited or recognized by national or regional bodies, grant four-year undergraduate degrees and/or postgraduate degrees, provide traditional face-to-face learning facilities, programs and courses and have a working official website.
