Miss Curlin to wed Scarbrough Oct. 15

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Casey Ann Curlin and Layton Brice Scarbrough are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Curlin of Fulton. She is the granddaughter of Bobby and Betty Harrison of Fulton and Bobby and Ruth Curlin of Clinton, Ky. She is the great-granddaughter of Raymond and Dorothy Harrison of Fulton and Wilson and Monette Fowler of Cayce, Ky.
She is a 2006 graduate of Fulton County High School in Hickman, Ky., and a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications.
She is employed by UT Martin as the publications specialist-university editor.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Scarbrough of Union City. He is the grandson of Ralph and Caroline Wheatley, Shirley Scarbrough and the late Harry Brice Scarbrough, all of Union City.
He is a 2007 graduate of Obion County Central High School and a 2011 graduate of UT Martin, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in communications.
He is employed by Magic Valley Publishing Co. as an advertising sales representative.
The couple will wed at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the home of the bride’s parents, located at 1958 State Route 1706 in Fulton.
A reception will immediately follow at The Lindell in downtown Martin.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
