Museum event set

The Obion County Museum will host “A Day at the Museum” Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the museum complex at 1004 Edwards St. in Union City.
The local Air Evac helicopter will land alongside fire and rescue units and there will be tours of the log cabin, schoolhouse and museum and a “sneak-peek” at Discovery Park of America.
A full 1840’s era frontier living re-enactment, including the firing of cannon and muskets, will take place and there will also be train rides, food and inflatable fun, as well as target shooting with M-16 rifles and more.
