Libraries celebrate Imagination Library Week

This week marks Imagination Library Week across the State of Tennessee.
Weakley County libraries will be celebrating this special designation, along with the seventh birthday of the Weakley County Reading Railroad.
Local libraries are giving away items including a book from the Imagination Library. Times set for the celebrations include:
• Gleason Memorial Library – Today, 2-6 p.m.
• C. E. Weldon Public Library in Martin – Thursday, 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.;
• Ned R. McWherter Weakley County Library in Dresden – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.;
• Sharon Public Library – Thursday, 2:30-4:30 p.m. and
• Dr. Nathan Porter Library in Greenfield – Saturday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Reading Railroad places a book in the home of every child in the county ages birth to five years old.
