Laura Russell attends conference for new therapy for Hepatitis C

Laura Russell, certified family nurse practitioner for Advanced Gatroenterology, recently attended a conference at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City for advanced training in new treatment options for Hepatitis C.
These new treatments bring the most current technology to the Northwest Tennessee area to help improve cure rates.
Ms. Russell is one of the leading practitioners in the area who actively treat numerous cases of Hepatitis C.
“This current therapy has been clinically proven to improve cure rates, shorten treatment times and improve mortality,” she said.
The course was supported by a grant from Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals.
